Christmas Baubles Workshop, Saturday 7th November PM: 2-4.30pm

Using a traditional Japanese craft technique dating back to the 18th century called Kimekomi. This meditative, hands on method is perfect for creating on of a kind Christmas baubles.

In this workshop, you'll learn to:  

• Choose and pair Christmas, plain and patterned fabric.
• Score and carve into your bauble base.
• Tuck and secure fabric using the Kimekomi technique.
• Add finishing touches like cord, ribbon, or embellishments for hanging.

No prior craft experience needed - just patience and your eye for pattern and colour. You'll leave with 2-3 handmade baubles to hang on your tree or garlands, plus the skills to keep making more at home.

I provide everything you need for the workshop. (If you do have a few pieces of fabric you wish to use that's great, not thick heavy fabrics though)

 The workshop is 2 - 2 1/2 hours
